We were really impressed with our final product. Rick designed our house based on many ideas we had in mind, and we were absolutely amazed with the design. Rick always went above and beyond with his services making us feel like his only clients. We ended up with beautifully designed home we can't stop staring at. He really did bring our dream home to life. Thanks Rick.

We found Rick after having a terrible experience at a project builder. Once he showed us the design for our skinny block we literally fell in love. And now after living in the house we love the amount of natural light each room gets, we adore the simple flow of the house and he managed to fit a butler's pantry into the design. Not only did he listen to everything we requested, he designed a house that perfectly fits our lifestyle and without any delays! You will not be disappointed. We cannot thank Rick enough.

We chose Rick to design our home last year and I have to say he has gone above and beyond to make sure we were satisfied with his design and services. The whole process was transparent and easy to understand, he made sure we were comfortable at all stages of the design. There were no hidden surprises and he seemed genuinely excited to take on our project. He helped us make smart changes to save money and spend more in areas where we could add value. He did an amazing job to keep us within our budget and the end result is exactly what we wanted. Rick's understanding of the building industry is outstanding. His advice has helped us so many times through the design process and even now he is assisted with random building questions I throw at him. He has always been very quick and happy to respond. We highly recommend Rick and will definitely use him again for our next project!

Building our first home was something we did not want to rush, or feel pressured into doing. We were looking for a building designer who would actually listen to our ideas and vision and work with us to make it all happen. Happy to say we found this and then some with Rick. Our house design was extremely intricate and we interviewed 4 companies before we found Modern Day Concepts. Rick was an easy choice not just for his skill and attention to detail, but the glowing references we heard, the detail of his quotations, and the complimentary inclusions within his service. If you’re looking for a home that really stands out, and we mean really stands out, you won’t find better than Rick and his team.

I engaged the services of Modern Day Concepts in 2018 to assist with a single story renovation. My vision was to keep the character of my original space but create a more modern living area with plenty of natural light and a place to entertain. Rick was honest, professional, reliable and best of all, always available. At all times during the design and renovation process I was able to speak to Rick to express my thoughts and feelings. Rick submitted all plans to my local council and helped me understand what was required in simple, easy to understand language. I had entered into my renovation process with reservations, and thanks to Rick and his team, left beyond satisfied.

Rick has great style, design, vision and truly understood what I wanted in my dream home. He took an ugly duckling and transformed it into a swan. Easy to work with and professional. I would recommend Rick any time!
